** Open to members who have not been placed 1st or 2nd in any working hunter class in the current year. Competitors may not enter any other Working Hunter Class.

Please note that Competitors/Horse/Pony combination will only be eligible for cups in the Working Hunter Class they enter first. For example: a 12.2hh Welsh Pony may enter classes 15 and 18 but will only be eligible for cups in the first class (Class 15). Should they wish to compete for cups in Class 18 they may not enter Class 15.

The course may be available for clear round after class 20

Hard hats and correct footwear must be worn at all times whilst mounted. Spurs are not allowed on the club field, Jackets or long sleeve shirts must be worn for all jumping classes along with back protectors.

Dressage

Class 1. – Members 10yrs and under (assisted)
Dressage – Prelim 10
Show-Jumping and Cross Country phases – fences approx 1’6”
Competitors may be assisted in Dressage, Show-jumping and cross country, but not led on the lead rein.
This class is designed to encourage children who can nearly ‘go it alone’, but would benefit from being assisted when necessary but not led on the lead rein.
Competitors may be assisted as follows:-
Dressage – assistant may call the test.
Show-jumping and Cross-Country – assistant may run alongside and direct rider. If the pony is led/held for any reason and for however long, 30 penalties per fence will be incurred.

Class 2 – Members 10 years and under (unassisted)
Dressage – Prelim 7
Show-jumping and Cross-Country phases – fences approx 1’6”

For classes 1 and 2 any normal riding bit will be acceptable in the dressage phase.

Class 3 – Group B (unassisted)
Dressage – Prelim 7
Show-jumping and Cross- Country phases – fences approx 2ft

Class 4 – Group C (unassisted)
Dressage – Prelim 7
Show-jumping and Cross- Country phases – fences approx 2’3”

For classes 3 and 4 there will be 50 penalties for any bit other than a snaffle in the Dressage phase.

Dressage test may be called to all classes without penalty

Rosettes: 1st – 6th place in all classes.

Fences approx 2’6”

Class 5 – Pairs (if time permits – entries on the day)
