Despite
the weather this years camp was a great success everyone had
a wonderful time. Many Many thanks to Sharon Boyd and Helen
Brown and their long suffering Husbands for all the hard work
they put in before, during and after camp.

This
weekend see our annual Showing Show, this is a great show and
is open to anyone. This year we have classes for youngstock
as well so its a fantastic chance to get them out and about.
All classes including the P(UK) Qualifiying classes are open
to anyone you don't need to be a member of Ponies UK.

Dressage
Day Rally
Together
with the Atherstone Pony Club we are holding a Dressage Day
Rally on Sunday 1st June.
The
day promises to be very interesting with top trainers, a fun
Pilates session and a BBQ

There
are now just a few places left on this years Camp! It promises
to be a Fantastic weekend so If you want to go or would like

Finally
we have managed to start the Season and we are delighted to
see Members old and new back riding at the Club.
Sunday
20th April saw a very successful Invitation Show and although
very cold the rain held off.
CAMP

Plans
for this years Camp are well underway with a very exciting itinerary
lined up including Show Jumping, Flatwork, Dressage, Showing
and Cross Country. Camp is a fabulous opportunity for everyone
to get together for three days of instruction and fun. It is
great value for money at only £35 per person.The Dates
are 24th - 26th May (Bank Holiday weekend) Be sure to book your

SHOWING
SHOW
The
Schedules for this years Showing Show are available now on the
website or from the Club House or Isabel Meadows (see contacts
Page) This Show is open to non-members and Adults and has a
full range or Classes both Ridden and In-Hand including Ponies
Association UK Qualifiying Classes. Remember anyone can enter
qualifiying Classes you don't need to be a member of P(UK) if
you win all the information you need wil be given on the card
presented in the ring.
New
for 2008 - As a trial we are running Youngstock Classes this
year, is is a great chance to get the youngsters out and about!
Games
Rally 29th March
The
first MDRC Gymkhana Games Rally took place on Saturday 29th
March. We were most fortunate to have Matt Clingo from the Atherstone
Pony Club winning Prince Philip Cup Team 2007 as Instructor
for the day.
Members
learned some of the skills they use to put in their terrific
performances.Despite the cold members had a great time and everyone
improved their skills throughout the morning.
We
will hopefully be putting on similiar rallies through the year
so please check the website or the Club Noticeboard for further
details.
